I was obviously wrong. The pool is big enough for one or two people to wade in and float around, and anybody could sit around it and watch some day in the future. A large wood-and-paving space, with all sorts of elaborate furniture and an amazing number of heavy, flowery outdoor displays. Interesting. All the furniture in the gardens, open or enclosed, is beautiful, comfortable-looking things that seem to function as lounges, and the open-air displays that we get to look at all afternoon and through the evening are gorgeous as well. The gardens could be viewed from a number of fixed overlooks - there is a general seating area beneath the overhangs of a beautiful stream, which is open, wooden, and quite charming; there's also a large and cozy circular deck, with tables and lounges. The gardens contain many more attractions, from soft lights, little waterfalls, elaborate stone sculpture, and small birds of all kinds to big cages containing macaws, parrots, parakeets, and other birds of exotic types. There's even a very high-tech aquarium with a lot of colorful fish. I like these - there's a very good-looking display of multicolored big fish in the aquarium area, and the two parrots sitting on the railings in front of the green house have loud, happy chirping voices. There are also organized, semi-organized, and totally free outdoor activities that take place in the evenings around the pool, and somebody has a good system of audio speakers or headphones for listening to music. They also have quiet music, which serves as a good background for meditation. You are approached immediately if you have a question, and the tour guides are fun, knowledgeable, and are happy to explain in detail what's going on. Thursby Wood Village Thursby Woods in Wiltshire, England, is an urban village in the south-west of the country. If you want a wider vision, the word “village” might not really be the right word. It might be better to say “observatory,” or “urban retreat.†I've also decided to revisit a book of mine from 2007, Change Your Thoughts—Change Your Life, based on the year I spent studying and living according to the Tao and the work of Dr. Wayne W.
